Enjoy hiking our extensive forest trail system with over 25+ kms of trails of varying lengths, levels of difficulty and some incredible viewpoints.  With a dynamic landscape, each trail has its own character and variety of scenery – including old growth forest and younger saplings, pine plantations, mixed vegetation, creek crossings, sand pits and some steep ascents!  And you should keep your eyes out for the vast variety of mushrooms along the trails too!

Canoeing & Kayaking

With water access on the beautiful Bang’s Bay, which connects to the Ottawa River, there is endless space to explore.  Enjoy the peace and tranquility of the water – capture the early morning mist, paddle to the rock face or enjoy the pink sky in the evening!

Take a refreshing dip in the Bay or lounge on the floating docks and let the cool breeze and sun charge your soul!

Fun for the whole family!  Float on the giant water mat or try to stand and balance or run and jump into the water.  You are guaranteed to share some laughs!

Kids of all ages can enjoy the large playground area, which includes a play structure, swing sets, sand, zip line, slack lines, a hammock zone and a large field for playing outdoor games.

Watch those smiles as the kids zoom across on the zip line. The zip line is suitable and safe for kids of all ages!

Bring your own bikes and enjoy the gravel roads or wilderness trails.  Many of the trails are more technical for riding – however, we are in the process of designing additional bike trails, which would be suitable for the whole family!

Hammock Time

There is no time like “hammock time”.  There are several hammocks located on the property, including each accommodation unit.  Take the time for a rest, to read or simply lounge in the hammocks and let any worries slip away!

If it’s the right time of year, you may find an abundance of berries – including, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries among many other wild edibles on the property!

Wildlife Viewing

In the quiet and calm of the forest, you may be lucky enough to spot some of the wildlife in Northern Ontario. You can also look for a variety of animal tracks along the trails. What lives in this region? Moose, deer, black bears, wolves, coyotes, lynx, fox, rabbits, beavers and the list goes on and on.

Oh – that night sky!  It’s the one thing that will forever take your breath away no matter how many times you look up!  With zero light pollution in the area, the sky will dance before your eyes and you may even get the chance to wish upon a shooting star!
