Eco-Showers
During the warmer seasons, there are (3) outdoor eco-showers whereby the water is passively heated by the sun and gravity fed into the showers. It’s a refreshing experience – but, always a welcomed experience!
Compost Toilets & Outhouses
Each accommodation unit has its own private compost toilet. However, there are several outhouses located on the property for additional washroom facilities.
Playground
Kids of all ages can enjoy the large playground area, which includes a play structure, swing sets, sand, zip line, slack lines, a hammock zone and a large field for playing outdoor games.
Water Equipment
Guests can choose from a wide variety of water equipment available to explore beautiful Bang’s Bay, which connects to the Ottawa River. Your selection includes canoes, kayaks, SUPs, innertubes, giant water matt and some floating docks for lounging! All the water equipment is included for our overnight guests and is available without advance reservation.
Tubing Park
This is the highlight for many of our winter guests! During the winter season, we construct and maintain our very own on-site tubing park with 7-unique tubing luge runs. It’s fun for all ages and will bring out that inner child for just about anyone!
Private Trail Network
Nature’s Harmony offers an extensive on-site private trail system with over 20+ km’s of trails of varying lengths, levels of difficulty and some incredible viewpoints! Trails are well marked and maintained for all seasons. A large trail map is available at the main grounds.
Sauna & Cold Season Shower
Whether you are a sauna person or not – this sauna can be enjoyed by everyone! It’s spacious enough to host a group and still gets incredibly hot. Sit on the top layer if you enjoy the blistering heat or tuck back into the corner if you want to share the experience with others without getting too hot. The sauna also includes a unique manual pump shower set up. It’s truly an experience all on its own! The sauna can be reserved by the hour for your own private use.
Cost: $60 per hour for 2 guests + $5 per additional person + HST.
Scheduling: The sauna takes approximately 3 hours to get hot and ready so guests need to coordinate a time in advance (or during their stay).
What it includes: The sauna will be hot upon arrival, including the water and lighting candles if it is at night time. There is a small change area, as well as, a compost toilet inside. Guests need to bring their own towels.
Natural Spring
We supply large jugs of natural spring water to all of our accommodations. As part of the experience, guests can also visit the spring to check out the endless flow of fresh cold spring water!
