A Space Designed for Connection

We have the best instructors

The main floor offers a spacious, open-concept layout that seamlessly blends the kitchen, dining area, and living room. A large dining table takes center stage, offering space for up to 20 guests to share meals, stories, and moments together.

Upstairs, the open-concept loft invites guests to embrace a playful, communal spirit. It’s perfect for reconnecting with your inner child, reminiscent of a giant slumber party with friends, family, or retreat members. Whether you’re curling up by the wood stove or gathering around the table, the Ma’ayan Chalet fosters a sense of belonging that’s hard to find elsewhere.

A Story Built Into Every Log

We have the best instructors

The Ma’ayan Chalet carries a rich and meaningful history. Originally built in the 1990s as part of a program for German youth seeking growth and resilience, the log cabin stands as a testament to teamwork and transformation. Over the course of one summer, participants lived on the property, working together to construct the chalet as part of a hands-on team-building experience. Look closely, and you may even find graffiti engraved in the logs—remnants of their journey.

After the program ended, the cabin was left unfinished, slowly falling into disrepair. But when we purchased the property in 2007, we saw its potential and began the long process of restoring its charm. Today, the Ma’ayan Chalet stands as a vibrant, welcoming space—a true reflection of its history of connection, creativity, and care.
