Tailored Programs and Curriculum Connections

At Nature’s Harmony, we believe in the transformative power of outdoor learning and play. Our programs immerse students in hands-on experiences that connect them to nature, encourage teamwork, and build confidence—no matter the season.

Customizable Outdoor Experiences

While our winter programming has been a popular choice, featuring activities like tubing, skating, scavenger hunts, guided snowshoeing, and an outdoor obstacle course, we also offer engaging experiences throughout the year. These activities can be tailored to meet specific curriculum goals or to provide a day of fun and exploration in nature. Whether it’s physical education, science, or team-building, our programs are designed to complement your classroom objectives.

Teacher-Led Opportunities

For outdoor education classes or high school survival skills groups, our property serves as the perfect setting. Teachers and facilitators can utilize our land to create their own programming, from overnight trips to immersive wilderness experiences.

Guided Empowerment Trail Experience

We also offer a curriculum-aligned program focused on resilience, self-discovery, and personal growth. Learn more about this transformative experience on its dedicated page!

Inspire the Next Generation

Outdoor education isn’t just about learning—it’s about creating memorable experiences that foster creativity, problem-solving, and connection. Join us in inspiring the next generation to embrace the outdoors and take on new challenges.

Our Happy Teachers

For the past 11 years, the Early Learning Kindergarten students at Mattawa District Public School, have been going to Nature’s Harmony for a late fall field trip. It is always one of the highlights of the year! The trip has evolved over the years to make sure that the students are always engaged in rich learning experiences in the beautiful and diverse outdoor environment that Nature’s Harmony provides. Some of the activities that the students participate in are scavenger hunts, interpretive nature walks, "lunch on the mountain” (always a favourite!), and free play in their outdoor recreation area. Jen and Tzach have always been very flexible, accommodating and easy to work with, and their staff have been very helpful and knowledgeable of the natural environment.
Outdoor experiential hands-on learning is such an integral part of a child’s social, emotional, and intellectual development, and is just such a fun way to learn! Our trips to nature’s Harmony have always checked all the boxes as an ideal Early Learning Kindergarten trip. The Early Learning Kindergarten team at MDPS hopes to continue this awesome tradition for many years to come.
